CERTE Bridge Course

Connecting and Equipping Refugees for Tertiary Education

CERTE provides bridge courses to aid adult refugees and asylum seekers in Malaysia in accessing further education. CERTE focuses on the soft skills needed for further and higher educational success.

To support them with the process of applying to university.

To help them develop a strong university application.

To motivate students to continue their education.

To increase student awareness of skills they will need to succeed in higher education.

To introduce students to universities and courses which are open for refugees.

into tertiary education in Malaysia, which includes A-leves and Undergraduate degree onsite & online.

Brief Criteria

The course is for refugees in Malaysia who are interested in and ready to apply for university in Malaysia. Candidates for the course should have a high school degree, or equivalent; a strong working knowledge of English; and a strong passion to further their studies.

FAQs

Will I receive a certificate at the end of the CERTE Course? 

Yes, a certificate will be awarded to the CERTE candidates upon successful completion of the course.

Will I be enrolled into a programme in a university after completing this course? 

CERTE doesn’t guarantee your acceptance into a University Programme, however, it will equip you with the necessary skills required for tertiary education and further in life.
